A lumber worker is responsible for processing, cutting, and preparing wood for various uses, such as construction or furniture making. Their duties can include operating machinery to saw logs into boards, sorting and grading lumber, and ensuring proper storage and transportation. Lumber workers may work in sawmills, lumberyards, or directly in forests during the logging process. Safety is an important aspect of their job, as they often handle heavy equipment and materials.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a lumber worker?

To thrive as a Lumber Worker, you need physical strength, stamina, knowledge of safe wood handling, and often a high school diploma or equivalent.
