Full-Time Lumber Yard Employee

Position: Yard Associate / Lumber Yard Employee
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Lumber Yard Employee to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and providing great service to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload lumber and building materials
  • Pull, stage, and organize customer orders
  • Assist customers with loading materials safely
  • Operate forklifts and other yard equipment as trained
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard
  • Help receive incoming deliveries and put away inventory
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Work as part of a team to keep daily operations running efficiently

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Able to lift and move heavy materials safely
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous lumber yard, construction, warehouse, or forklift experience is a plus
  • Forklift experience/certification is preferred, but training is available
