Tanning Consultant

We are seeking an experienced high-energy Tanning Consultant who understands this role is more then operating equipment. It's about delivering exceptional client experiences, driving sales performance, and elevating brand standards.

This position is ideal for a motivated professional with a proven background in tanning, beauty or high performance retail sales who thrives in a fast paced, results driven environment.

Join our team as a Tanning Consultant where you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring top-notch customer service. Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service with strong focus on relationship-building and retention
• Conduct thorough client consultations to recommend appropriate tanning/wellness packages, memberships and skin care products
• Educate clients on tanning safety, equipment usage and skin care practices
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional salon environment at all times
• Manage POS transactions and membership enrollments accurately
• Assist with inventory management
• Uphold all company policies, compliance standards and operational procedures
• Contribute to a positive, team oriented culture
• Assure salon cleanliness and organization
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Learn about and promote salon products and services
• Utilize and promote salon products/services

Requirements:

• Previous experience in tanning salon, beauty or commission-based retail sales (required)
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong upselling and cross selling skills
• Professional appearance and confident communication style
• Ability to handle client concerns with composure and professionalism
• Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Basic understanding of skincare and tanning products
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Social media engagement experience (client outreach, promotions, content participation)
• Actively use salon services and products weekly to best educate clients on personal experience
• Open availability with flexibility for weekday/weekend shifts
• Shift Availability Times 8:45am-2:00pm & 2:00pm-7:15pm
• Must be available weekday mornings and evenings as well as weekends
