Sack Lumber is recruiting pros to join our ranks of Lumber Yard managers
Job Responsibilities & Expectations: Sack Lumber Managers have a multi-faceted role that includes managing the day-to-day operation of the retail store and lumber yard. Duties include but are not limited to: building and maintaining relationships with local contractors, growing sales, inventory management, hiring/training yard staff, account management, providing excellent customer service, working with vendors to estimate projects and manage delivery timelines. This position holds a seat on the corporate advisory board and has full P & L responsibility.
Salary Range: $55k-85k per year, comprised of base wage and performance bonuses
Qualifications:
1. Business, Management, Sales, or Construction Management experience preferred
2. Prior sales/operations experience preferred
3. Effective communication skills
4. Time management
5. Engaged in community affairs
Helpful Experience: Demonstration of strong leadership, management, building/construction experience, blueprint reading and take-offs.
