Job description

This position performs a variety of duties. The Warehouse Sanitation operator will perform dry and wet cleaning tasks in all production work areas. Along with helping with battery rotation and tracking. This position pays 21.35 an hour.

Core Duties:

  • 20% - Freezer cleaning: Sweep racks, dust, remove trash, and maintain overall cleanliness.  

  • 20% - Cooler cleaning: Sweep racks, mop floors, run the scrubber, dust, and remove trash.  

  • 20% - Dry warehouse cleaning: Sweep racks, mop floors, run the scrubber, dust, clean docks and dock pits, and remove trash.  

  • 20% - Cardboard handling: Assist with cardboard removal and disposal.  

  • 10% - Forklift battery maintenance: Maintain proper battery rotation and change forklift batteries as needed.  

  • 10% - Safety and compliance: Perform all duties safely while following all SOP and GMP guidelines. 

Sanitation: Sign off on all EMSS and clean with approve cleaning supplies.  

Safety: Perform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conduct.  

Quality:This position is responsible and accountable to ensure all areas are maintained to comply with  food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policies.  

Minimum Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Must be 18 years of age 

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language 

  • Ability to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions and make adjustments or corrective action as necessary 

  • Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs 

  • Basic math skills to be able to perform mathematical functions 

  • Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures 

  • Ability to maintain clean work area according to good manufacturing processes 

  • Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and oncoming/outgoing shifts

Work Environment Description:  

  • The Warehouse Team Member I must be able to lift moderate weights repeatedly throughout the shift.  The position holder is also required to stand/walk throughout the shift and must have the ability to work in hot, humid, and cold areas. The Team Member I must be able to work overtime and holidays when required. The operator must be able to read/write and perform basic arithmetic in order to understand the S.O.P.'s, Good Manufacturing Practices, and safe work practices. The operator performs all the assigned housekeeping and inspection program duties assigned. 

Leprino Lubbock is seeking a Membrane Operator. The Membrane Operator is responsible for the safe operation of the Membrane equipment processes, CIP systems, lab equipment and various control instruments. 

All other duties as assigned. 

This position pays $26 per hour. There is an additional $1 differential for hours worked between 6pm and 6am. Weekly pay.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the safe operation of the Membrane system and its associated equipment and/or processes 
  • Maintain the quality of incoming raw materials and the quality of the outgoing products in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe work practices   
  • Participate in and implement continuous improvement 
  • Complete paperwork accurately 
  • Ability to troubleshoot all equipment and identify potential problems 
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers, team leads, and supervisors 
  • Follow sanitation procedures of all equipment at shutdown 
  • Complete assigned GMP and housekeeping duties and maintain 5S standards as required
  • Perform work in a safe manner by following safety procedures and policies, critical safety rules, and expected standard conduct 
  • Ensure product meets food safety, regulatory, and quality requirements by following the Food Safety Plan, Quality Plan, and company policies 

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • Must be 18 years of age 
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic English language 
  • Ability to evaluate and identify mechanical conditions and make adjustments as necessary

One year of work experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in machine operation and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment are preferred. 

Work Environment Description:

  • Must be able to lift moderate weights repeatedly throughout the shift weighing up to 50lbs 
  • Required to stand/walk, climb steps or ladders, bend at the knees, make pipe connections, lift equipment parts throughout the shift and must have the ability to work in hot, humid, and cold areas
