The Manager, Supply Chain Management, oversees the efficient flow of merchandise through distribution networks and fulfillment centers by resolving operational issues and analyzing data to enhance network performance. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to optimize supply chain execution, managing exceptions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires leadership in supervising associates, fostering accountability, and ensuring compliance with company standards. By leveraging strategic insights and process improvements, the manager supports business goals related to inventory, profitability, and customer satisfaction while promoting innovation and operational excellence across the supply chain.
About the team:
The team manages inbound shipments for Walmart's eCommerce and 3rd party marketplace divisions, focusing on efficient product flow into fulfillment centers and domestic LTL shipments. Reporting to senior leadership, the manager leads senior analysts to enhance supply chain processes through data analysis, root cause resolution, and cross-functional collaboration. The team prioritizes operational excellence, clear communication, and continuous improvement to support business growth. Members apply expertise in supply chain management, process optimization, and supplier relationship management to drive effective solutions and sustainable results across Walmart's domestic inbound transportation network.
