JOB PURPOSE:
Transportation Insight has a dedicated team sales team that leads the charge to grow our business. As we look to continue to accelerate our growth, Transportation Insight seeks to increase its Contracted Sales Agent network by targeting and collaborating with key sales professionals across the country, who specialize in logistics and supply chain solutions.
CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to sell cutting-edge logistics solutions across multiple modes (LTL, TL, Parcel, Intermodal, International).
  • Execute a distinct sales/solutions strategy by providing and qualifying prospect opportunities, as well as winning new business.
  • Target C-Suite executive relationships built on trust and performance.
SUPPORTING DUTIES TO THE CRITICAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with economic buyers and key executives within the prospective clients to effectively enable your efforts of aligning with their needs in a way that delivers meaningful logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Where necessary, and as requested by VP of Client Solutions, support and strengthen the business relationships of existing customers for the purpose of upsell and/or client retention.
  • Negotiate with respect and transparency.
  • Excel at understanding and driving solutions centered on primary client needs.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
  • Executive-level sales experience and a track record of relationship-building across all decision-making levels.
  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to present dynamic and complex business solutions in a board room environment.
  • A desire to win individually, and as a team, with a focus on creating immediate and long-term value for clients.
  • 10+ years recent trucking, sales or operations experience.
