About this Job The Athletics Chief of Staff works as a member of the LSUS Athletics Department managing the full range of tasks and responsibilities for gameday operations and events. This position also assists in the fundraising efforts of the department to enhance the quality of experience for the student-athletes. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the LSUS Director of Athletics.

Progressive experience assisting with events or operations. Must be a hard-working, creative, and team-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited institution Two years of progressive experience overseeing athletic events or operations. Experience in athletic marketing Experience in game day management including cash handling, concessions, and ticketing Strong professional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands for handling, grasping, and reaching. Postural Activities: May involve occasional bending, stooping, crouching, or climbing. Environmental Demands Work Setting: Both indoor and outdoor tasks depending on job requirements.

Job Duties and Other Information Position Duites & Responsibilities: Manage all Department of Athletics game day concessions/gate/student workers Oversee all cash handling and deposits Coordinate gym/field rentals with Events Management Oversee all athletic contracts Lead contact for all National Tournament Events Administrative functions to assist Athletic Director and Coaching Staff Assist with operation of the Athletic Business Office. Serve as the primary coordinate for all Athletic special events (Hall of Fame, Golf Tournament, Athletic Awards Banquet, etc.) Coordinate all Department of Athletics student workers. Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Athletics No Civil Service test score is required in order to be considered for this vacancy
