Job description

Urologist Position

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center at Shreveport seeks a full-time board certified/board eligible Urologist, fellowship trained in Urologic Oncology to expand its full-time clinical faculty. Must be board eligible/board certified in Urology and eligible for LA Medical license.

Job Summary:

Primary responsibilities include patient care, resident education, and medical student education. Clinical duties and responsibilities rotate among our tertiary Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and two affiliated teaching institutions. Several da Vinci surgical systems (including a dual-console unit) are available for patient care and resident training. The successful applicant will join several full-time faculty members in a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
