Reports To: Regional Manager
Position Summary
The General Manager (GM) leads daily operations and drives performance through inspired leadership, accountability, and commitment to the Walk-On's Way. This role ensures excellence in guest satisfaction, team development, and financial results while fostering a fun, winning culture.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Brand Standard
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience that embodies Walk-On's culture.
• Ensure consistent execution of brand standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
Team Leadership & Development
• Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing management team and hourly staff.
• Conduct regular manager meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching.
• Build a culture of accountability, recognition, and growth.
Business & Financial Management
• Drive sales and profitability through sound financial management and local marketing efforts.
• Manage labor, food, and controllable costs to meet or exceed targets.
• Execute business plans and analyze financial results to identify opportunities.
Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and sanitary environment for guests and team members.
• Protect company assets and uphold ethical business practices.
Requirements
• 3+ years of full-service restaurant GM or senior management experience (high-volume preferred).
• Proven leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
• Ability to work 50-60 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
