Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (40 Hours/Week)

Position Overview

Mount Nittany Health is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support its Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine practice. This contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with no call, weekend, or holiday requirements.

The selected candidate will primarily assist with clerical and administrative responsibilities while also being cross-trained to provide clinical support within the practice as needed. This role is ideal for an LPN who enjoys a combination of patient care and administrative functions in a specialty clinic setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing support within the Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine clinic.
  • Assist with patient intake, documentation, and clinical workflows.
  • Perform clerical and administrative duties to support daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with physicians, providers, and clinic staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Support clinic coverage needs following onboarding and training.
Requirements
  • Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
  • BLS/BCLS certification required.
  • Experience in a clinical or ambulatory care setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both administrative and patient-care capacities.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.
