• Conduct in-depth initial assessments to evaluate client needs and determine effective treatment plans, ensuring personalized care tailored to individual circumstances.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic techniques, and solution-focused brief therapy based on each client's specific needs.
• Engage in collaborative case management with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client's well-being.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficient record-keeping.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health practices, participating in continued professional development through workshops and training opportunities.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, addressing a broad range of mental health issues. Your clients may include individuals managing anxiety, trauma survivors, couples navigating relationship dynamics, and families seeking guidance. Each client presents their unique story, and you will have the privilege of supporting them through various life challenges and transitions.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required for this position.
• Candidates must possess active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting is necessary for consideration.
• Specialization in areas such as trauma, substance use disorders, or family therapy is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines and regulatory frameworks pertinent to counseling practices is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a team of health professionals.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software for documentation and client management.

While the minimum requirement is set at two years of experience, those who possess advanced training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches will be at an advantage. The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with caseload and experience.
