Job Summary:


The Clinic Supervisor will plan, direct, or coordinate the basic day to day operations of the clinic to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services in a patient centered approach.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility for the daily operational needs of the department including supervising staff, processing timesheets, and ordering supplies for the clinic.
  • Readily and accurately identifies opportunities for improvement relating to the delivery of services, quality-of-work life, and patient care issues.
  • Maintains compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and clinic policy for patient services, personnel management, and environmental safety.
  • Build and manage relationships with community partners and professionally represent Jordan Valley in the community.
  • Oversee integration of services in the clinic and ensure that the principles of a patient centered medical home are present in the operations.
  • Assists the director in managing an effective, comprehensive performance improvement process, that is outcome driven and establishes a culture of excellence in quality and service. Provides ongoing support to the director in collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports.
  • Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within specified time frames, as part of the Clinic’s overall mission.
  • Assists director in interviewing and hiring new clinic staff as well as with the onboarding and training process.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Additional education may be substituted for years' experience.
  • Current BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Graduation from a dental assisting program, preferred.
  • Two years' experience of Dental Assisting, preferred.
  • Prefer basic skills certification and expanded functions.
