Immersed Clinical Centre is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. • Facilitate Group Therapy: Lead engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences, build connections, and practice coping strategies in a supportive environment.
• Provide Individual Therapy: Offer personalized counseling that addresses the unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of each client, guiding them in the development of coping mechanisms and action plans.
• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their specific mental health needs and preferences.
• Monitor Client Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to evaluate client progress, ensuring that treatment plans remain relevant and effective.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other professionals on the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, consult on complex cases, and enhance overall client outcomes through regular communication.

The LPC will primarily work with young adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. You will engage clients who are seeking support in personal development and recovery, enabling them to navigate their journeys with empathy and understanding. Your role is critical in shaping positive therapeutic relationships, leading to impactful changes in their lives.

• Possession of a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals struggling with mental health/mood disorders in either residential or outpatient settings.
• A collaborative spirit, showcasing a commitment to the organization’s mission of promoting positive change.
• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.

While not mandatory, experience in community health settings or with young adult populations is highly regarded. Familiarity with therapeutic documentation practices and experience in using assessment tools for progress monitoring are advantageous.
