Position Overview
ARP is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to clients in a substance use and mental health treatment setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who are clinically strong, proactive, and passionate about recovery-focused care.
Acceptable Licensure:
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Associate Professional Counselor (APC)
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine clinical appropriateness for treatment
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans
  • Monitor client behavior and progress throughout treatment
  • Deliver crisis intervention services and follow established protocols
  • Conduct intake interviews and make referral recommendations as needed
  • Document services accurately and in compliance with clinical standards
  • Communicate significant incidents to the Clinical Director
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Southern Live Oak Wellness, LLC
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Georgia licensure or associate-level license (APC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with high-acuity mental health clients
  • 3-5 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment preferred
  • Experience leading group therapy and providing individual and family therapy
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
  • High level of initiative, professionalism, and clinical judgment
  • CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
