The Phoenix Psychotherapy Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a remote telehealth position, allowing you to provide essential mental health services from your chosen location. This role will primarily be conducted via telehealth, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a professional atmosphere conducive to effective therapy delivery. You will engage with clients through digital platforms, utilizing technology to connect, diagnose, and treat patients effectively. • Collaborate with healthcare providers within the primary care team to detect and manage mental health concerns, ensuring integrated care for our patients.
• Conduct thorough patient intakes focused on diagnostic assessments, functional evaluations, and develop personalized therapy plans based on individual needs.
• Provide timely interventions for clients requiring immediate mental health support, ensuring they receive appropriate care when it matters most.
• Guide primary care practitioners on when a patient may benefit from specialized mental health services or referrals to external providers.
• Perform regular progress evaluations to assess treatment efficacy, documenting findings and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Assist clients in creating relapse prevention plans and strategies to foster independent coping mechanisms.
• Identify early warning signs in patients that might signal a deterioration in their mental or physical health, participating in the development of appropriate preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing communication with primary care providers, keeping them informed about clients' statuses, treatment goals, and any necessary adjustments.
• Teach patients vital self-management skills and provide educational resources that empower them to take control of their treatment journey.
• Consult regularly with clinic management and team members to evaluate services and explore opportunities for program improvements.
• Adhere to the Clinical Professionals' Code of Ethics while performing additional assigned duties.

As an LPC at Phoenix Psychotherapy Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse client base, addressing a wide array of mental health issues. Your focus will include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and psychosocial challenges, among others. You will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment and promoting mental health awareness within the community, contributing to holistic individual and family wellness.

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field.
• Possession of a valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license.
• A solid understanding of mental health evaluation techniques, treatment planning, and psychotherapy frameworks.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• The capacity to manage the demands of the role with sufficient mental and physical health.
• Comprehensive knowledge of community resources and how to leverage them effectively to enhance patient support.
• A keen understanding of psychodiagnostics and familiarity with DSM-IV diagnoses.

• Experience working in a telehealth environment or proficiency with telecommunication tools and platforms.
• Prior counseling experience within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of behavioral change strategies to assist patients in overcoming mental and physical health challenges.

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a sign-on bonus to welcome new team members.
