About the role
We're a professional cleaning company specializing in overnight restaurant cleaning across Lower Manhattan. We're hiring a reliable, experienced Overnight Driver/Cleaner to join our team — someone who can drive our company van to client locations each night, perform hands-on cleaning, and keep our supplies and equipment organized and accounted for.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the company cargo van to and from all job sites each night.
- Perform hands-on overnight cleaning at restaurant locations across Lower Manhattan.
- Load and unload the van; maintain accurate inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Enforce company and client safety, security, and quality standards (PPE required).
- Track supply levels; flag shortages before they impact operations.
- Support communication between management and the field crew (bilingual role).
- Participate in occasional daytime client site walk-throughs.
- Work under the direction of the on-site supervisor.
Required qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record — required, no exceptions.
- Experience driving a cargo van or similar commercial vehicle.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facilities services.
- 5+ years of commercial cleaning experience.
- Floor care expertise: able to strip and wax floors (set-up, chemical use, machine operation, finish application).
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) — reading, writing, and speaking.
- Physically able to walk, lift, bend, and handle equipment for the full shift.
- Basic computer literacy (scheduling, reporting, text communication).
- Authorized to work in the United States.

Schedule
- Overnight shift
- Occasional daytime availability required for client site walk-throughs.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
