• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, effectively employing therapeutic techniques to assist clients in improving their mental health.
• Facilitate discussions that encourage clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, promoting self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.
• Act as an advocate for clients by helping them articulate their goals and navigating their treatment pathways.
• Assess clients’ mental health conditions comprehensively and develop tailored, solution-focused treatment plans based on your clinical expertise.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

The clients you will serve are prescreened, stable individuals with low-acuity needs, allowing for focused therapeutic interventions. This unique client demographic fosters an environment where you can effectively apply your therapeutic skills to encourage personal growth and development. Understanding their backgrounds and being responsive to their needs will be key to building trust and rapport.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• A valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
• Proficiency in using technology and telehealth software to facilitate remote sessions.

• Demonstrated ability to practice independently without supervision.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans for diverse populations.
• Prior experience in telehealth or remote counseling settings is a plus.
