Job description

Northern California Emergency Medicine Job 1099 + Low Volume - Live Near San Francisco, Work Near Yosemite

  • 12-hour shifts; 9 am-9 pm and 9 pm-9 am.
  • Full-time is 120 hours per month; part-time option available
  • 1099 position
  • $275/hr days, $285/hr nights Plus additional generous Medical Director stipend
  • They are growing their strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to over six EM physicians and 2.5 EM Advanced Practice Providers. Their model consists of 24 hours per day of physician coverage and 10 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Emergency Medicine Board-Certified physicians will be considered (ABEM or AOBEM Board certification required)
  • Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS

Key Responsibilities:

  • An acute care hospital with -bed ED (all private rooms) and four fast-track beds
  • Annual volume of 20,579 with a 4% admission rate
  • Average of 2.1 patients per hour
  • The hospital includes five ICU beds and 30 med/surg beds
  • Level 4 Trauma goal in 2025/2026
  • Radiology, including CT/Ultrasound and MRI available during daytime hours
  • Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology, General Surgery, Mobile Crisis Psych, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Wound Care
