Job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Network & Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot networking, cabling, and security systems. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, hands-on field experience, and a commitment to meeting customer needs and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network systems, including switching and connectivity
  • Install and service CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems
  • Perform structured cabling work, including Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic termination and testing
  • Diagnose and repair communication systems using appropriate testing tools
  • Replace defective components and install new equipment as needed
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
  • Complete and submit service reports and documentation accurately and on time
  • Safely operate power tools, lifts, and specialized equipment

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent certifications
  • 2+ years of experience in the technology field
  • Solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting
  • Experience with structured cabling and low voltage systems
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license

Work Requirements:
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (cable pulling, working in attics, using lifts)
  • Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, or weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including short notice

Additional Requirements:
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • CompTIA A+ and networking certifications are preferred or required
