Job description

Position Overview

Bright Mind Intervention Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role allows you to work remotely, providing crucial mental health support to clients from the comfort of your home. You will have the autonomy to create your own schedule, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those you assist.

About the Organization

At Bright Mind Intervention Therapy, we are committed to connecting qualified mental health professionals with clients who require assistance. Our organization prides itself on providing high-quality, personalized mental health services to individuals, focusing on evidence-based solutions to promote well-being. We prioritize fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our counselors, offering the tools necessary to thrive in their practice.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions via secure video chat. You will work in a comfortable and flexible environment, enhancing your ability to provide impactful care to clients. Our outpatient office serves as the central hub for our therapist network, and by joining our team, you will have access to a range of virtual resources and support systems that promote your professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients using video conferencing tools, utilizing telehealth technology to ensure seamless communication.
  • Facilitate discussions with clients about their emotions and experiences, guiding them toward greater self-awareness and understanding of their relationships.
  • Develop treatment plans that are tailored to each client's needs, applying your clinical knowledge and solution-focused approach.
  • Advocate for client needs by assisting in identifying personal goals and strategies for overcoming challenges.
  • Monitor the mental health status of clients and adjust treatment strategies as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and client feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients that have been prescreened and exhibit stable mental health with low acuity. This enables you to apply your expertise in a supportive setting, focusing on prevention and enhancement of mental wellness rather than crisis intervention. Our diverse client base includes individuals from various backgrounds, creating an enriching therapeutic environment.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • A valid and active licensure as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to practice independently without supervision.
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong empathetic nature that facilitates genuine connections with clients.
  • Strong computer skills are necessary for using teletherapy platforms and other digital tools.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in outpatient settings, especially in remote environments, is preferred.
  • Proven track record in effectively conducting individual therapy and developing treatment plans.
  • Prior experience with virtual counseling platforms is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation for this role ranges from $50,000 to $70,000 per year, based on your caseload and relevant experience.
  • You will enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to dictate your working hours, contributing to an optimal work-life balance.
  • Access to continuous professional development, mentorship, and resources that enrich your practice.
  • Engage in a supportive virtual community that values collaboration, encouraging frequent supervision and feedback.
  • Utilization of secure, industry-standard teletherapy platforms and resources to ensure effective and confidential client interactions.
Career Growth Opportunities

Bright Mind Intervention Therapy offers an environment conducive to professional growth. You will have opportunities to participate in ongoing training and development workshops, enhancing your clinical skills and staying updated with the latest evidence-based practices. We encourage you to explore leadership roles within our organization, paving the way for your career advancement.

Why Join Our Team

By joining Bright Mind Intervention Therapy, you become part of a supportive community dedicated to improving mental health outcomes. You will have the flexibility to engage in meaningful work while maintaining the freedom that remote work offers. We value your contributions and provide an environment where your skills and passion for helping others can thrive. Together, we can make a profound impact in the lives of individuals seeking mental health support.
