Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support KABS and our government customer in Washington, DC. The position is hybrid, requires 1 day onsite. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the Digital Workplace workforce by designing, configuring, scripting, integrating, and sustaining ServiceNow applications and workflows. The successful candidate will deliver practical platform capabilities that improve service delivery, automation, user experience, reporting, and operational control across the enterprise. Work will be performed at the client's facility or customer approved remote locations during Eastern Time core business hours.

The ServiceNow Developer will provide hands‑on development and configuration support across ServiceNow modules, workflows, integrations, and user experiences.

Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Design, configure, script, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications, catalog items, flows, forms, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
  • Support platform modernization using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, Workspace, App Engine, and approved low-code/no-code capabilities.
  • Develop integrations with identity, monitoring, collaboration, data, and enterprise workflow systems using APIs, web services, and secure integration patterns.
  • Translate requirements from product owners and business analysts into maintainable platform configurations and technical designs.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, defect resolution, release planning, and production support.
  • Document configuration decisions, integration details, deployment steps, and operational procedures.
Education and Experience:Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, enterprise workflow development, or platform implementation.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development or administration experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified System Administrator.
  • Experience supporting federal ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, SPM, App Engine, or ITOM implementations.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong ServiceNow development skills including scripting, Flow Designer, catalog development, tables, forms, ACLs, integrations, and application lifecycle practices.
  • Understanding of platform security, role-based access, performance, testing, and release management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot defects across configuration, code, data, workflows, integrations, and user experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
  • Experience with Automated Test Framework, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, Workspace, App Engine Studio, or CMDB/CSDM.
  • Knowledge of Agile, ITIL, DevSecOps, and federal compliance practices.
