You're going to Love Lovelace! Are you looking for a life-long career? Lovelace Medical Group is seeking a self-motivated Podiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Lovelace family in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico.
About the Position:
  • Lovelace Medical Group Westside office
  • Join a surgical team of 1 physician, 1 customer service coordinators/2 MAs/1 Surgery Scheduler
  • Inpatient and Outpatient mix
  • Daily Patient Average: 18-24 on clinic days
  • Mon-Fri, 8-5
  • EMR: Epic (Ambience AI tool)

Required Skills/Procedures
Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates should be comfortable managing pre- and post-operative patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities are essential for success in this role.
Experience in evaluating, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with specialized expertise in wound care management and diabetic foot care, including the prevention, treatment, and monitoring of lower extremity wounds and diabetic complications.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program
  • Current licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • must be able to obtain a DEA registration and New Mexico board of pharmacy prescriptive authority by the time of employment
  • excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills are required
