Job description

Loudoun Medical Group (LMG) is a premier physician-owned, multi-specialty medical group serving patients across Northern Virginia. LMG focuses on delivering coordinated, patient-centered care in both primary and specialty settings. With a strong presence in the community, LMG supports clinicians through shared resources, modern facilities, and integrated practice management. LMG providers benefit from a supportive foundation that enables them to prioritize patient outcomes and professional growth and success.

LMG is seeking an internal medicine or family medicine physician to take over a successful practice in Western Loudoun County upon retirement of the current physician. This would entail working in tandem with the current physician for a period of time to ensure a smooth transition of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Strong clinical experience in Primary Care and Internal or Family Medicine, with the ability to manage a broad range of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Comfort and proficiency in Urgent Care settings, including evaluation and management of same-day or walk-in patient needs.
  • Commitment to Community Health, including preventive care, patient education, and culturally responsive care for diverse populations.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, completion of an accredited internal medicine residency, and board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine.
  • Current, unrestricted Virginia medical license (or eligibility to obtain), DEA registration, and CPR/BLS certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary setting.
  • Comfort with electronic health records, evidence-based practice, and participation in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives.
