Job Description: General Manager Players CafeAbout Players Cafe:Players Cafe is a concept retail store aimed at the tech-savvy consumer. Our mission powered by lotto.com, is to de-stigmatize the lottery experience and educate a digitally savvy generation on the philanthropic causes that state lotteries support. Players Cafe specializes in lottery games and serves coffee on tap, pre-packaged gourmet goods, and celebratory gifts.What you’ll do:The role of the General Manager of Players Cafe stores will be to excite customers and employees about the lotto.com vision and products through operationally sound stores and exceptional customer service. They are a critical component in the success of the Players Cafe brand. The General Manager will work out of the local store.Responsibilities: Coach and mentor a team of Players Cafe Sales Associates to always put the guest first and ensure an exceptional visitor experience is delivered 100% of the time.Become an expert on the full Players Cafe catalog and provide product advice and recommendations to suit the customer’s unique needs.Performs other related duties as assigned. Lead, uphold and embrace [Brand]’s mission and core values.Use KPIs and reporting to create business solutions and exceed sales targets.Perform store opening and closing duties including unlocking the store, setting up the store environment, light cleaning tasks throughout the day, updating closing reports and following closing procedures including securing the store after business hours.Conduct performance evaluations and take corrective action with employees when warranted.Oversee hiring and training of an engaged workforce.Maintain operational excellence by implementing key policies, procedures, training and initiatives with your team.Manage scheduling and payroll to effectively meet the needs of the business and company expectations.Share valuable customer insight from front-lines with our product and marketing teams.Assist the HQ team to create programs, events and initiatives to make our customers’ experiences even better.Quickly implement solutions to any problems or issues that arise.Operate lotto machines and ensure equipment remains in good working order, reporting any maintenance needs to the Operations Manager and HQ team.Oversee inventory management and back-of-house ops ensuring accuracy and organizationEducate visitors on the brand history and value proposition.Engage with loyal customers: form new customer relationships for the brand and seek opportunities to surprise and delight our customers.About You3+ years experience in retail or hospitality leadership including managing direct reportsExperience motivating and mentoring teams to achieve resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsShopify experience preferred, but not requiredComfortable and nimble with operating technology and learning multiple systemsWilling to give and receive feedback to and from field team/HQ on improving store environment and customer service A can-do attitude and the willingness to own every challenge and roll up your sleeves as neededAvailable to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekendsAbility to lift up to 15 lbs at times.What We OfferBe part of a team that wants to exchange ideas, make an impact, and enjoys coming to work every dayCompetitive salary and bonus structureComprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision.Paid vacation and sick time $50,001 - $75,000
