About the Role: 
The Director of Business Management will serve as a strategic and operational leader within the Media Insights organization, reporting to a Senior Director. This role is responsible for driving organizational effectiveness through workforce strategy, financial planning, operational governance, and business performance management. The position will oversee the rhythm of the business while enabling scalable growth, operational discipline, and executional excellence across the organization. 
Responsibilities 
Strategic Planning & Business Performance 
  • Lead the development, tracking, and management of organizational OKRs and performance metrics. 
  • Establish reporting frameworks that provide visibility into business performance, operational health, and strategic progress. 
  • Partner with leadership to define organizational priorities, execution plans, and operational goals. 
  • Drive accountability and alignment across teams through measurable business outcomes. 
Workforce Strategy & Resource Management 
  • Lead strategic resource management, ensuring talent and organizational capacity are aligned to evolving business priorities. 
  • Oversee headcount planning, workforce allocation, and organizational capacity forecasting. 
  • Develop scalable workforce strategies that optimize utilization, efficiency, and organizational agility. 
  • Manage offshore operational support teams and ensure effective delivery models and vendor alignment. 
Financial Planning & Operational Governance 
  • Contribute to annual operating planning (AOP) processes, partner with finance and leadership teams to forecast capacity, headcount and budget needs. 
  • Monitor organizational performance and deliver actionable insights to leadership. 
  • Define and manage service policies, operational standards, and governance frameworks across the organization. 
  • Refine service reporting mechanisms to measure operational effectiveness and stakeholder satisfaction. 
Process Optimization & Organizational Operations 
  • Lead process management and continuous improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and scalability. 
  • Develop and refine workflows, governance models, and operational best practices across the organization. 
  • Lead the overall rhythm of the business, including operating cadences, leadership reviews, organizational planning, and cross-functional coordination. 
  • Ensure operational consistency, executional rigor, and continuous improvement across internal and partner-facing functions. 
Leadership & Collaboration 
  • Lead and develop a high-performing business management and operations team. 
  • Foster strong collaboration across Media Insights, Finance, Operations, and partner organizations. 
  • Build a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. 
Qualifications 
  • 8+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, finance, resource management, or organizational leadership roles. 
  • Proven ability to lead operational transformation and process optimization initiatives. 
  • Success optimizing resource utilization across multiple different users and stakeholders. 
  • Experience managing offshore teams, vendor relationships, and contract governance. 
  • Demonstrated success driving OKR frameworks and organizational performance management. 
  • Experience in financial planning, AOP management, and headcount forecasting. 
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to operate strategically while driving tactical execution in a fast-paced environment. 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience supporting media, insights, analytics, or technology organizations. 
  • Strong understanding of organizational design, operating models, and scalable service delivery frameworks. 
  • Experience leading enterprise operational governance and business management functions.
