Job Summary
The Director Media Strategy at Zoomph will bridge the gap between product development and the needs of sports teams, media organizations, and brand partners. This role focuses on driving the development and refinement of Zoomph's products to deliver exceptional value for media measurement, sponsorship analytics, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the CPO, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure Zoomph's tools address market needs, deliver actionable insights, and remain at the forefront of media and sports analytics.
Product Strategy & Development:
  • Collaborate with the CPO to define and execute the product roadmap for Zoomph's media analytics and sponsorship measurement tools.
  • Leverage client feedback, market trends, and internal analytics to identify opportunities to enhance product offerings around media strategy and audience insights.
  • Partner with engineering teams to translate high-level business requirements into product specifications and user stories, ensuring timely execution.
  • Prioritize features and product updates that solve media measurement challenges for clients, such as social engagement tracking, broadcast valuation, and sponsorship ROI.
  • Lead the development of intuitive data visualization dashboards that present complex analytics in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Advocate for user experience (UX) enhancements that align with the needs of media buyers, sponsors, and marketers.

Customer & Market Insights:
  • Engage directly with sports teams, brands, and media partners to understand their pain points, workflows, and media performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and strategy teams to showcase product insights through industry reports, case studies, and thought leadership.
  • Analyze market trends in sponsorship activation, audience engagement, and broadcast media to inform product decisions and keep Zoomph's platform competitive.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to gather feedback and ensure product adoption, user satisfaction, and business impact.

Data-Driven Innovation:
  • Utilize Zoomph's proprietary data to identify opportunities for product innovation and new features that address media strategy challenges.
  • Champion the development of tools that measure broadcast performance, sponsorship ROI, and social media impact for sports properties and their partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering to integrate and optimize third-party APIs that enrich Zoomph's analytics capabilities.
  • Create a feedback loop between users and the product team to ensure ongoing improvements meet market demands.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the CPO to align product priorities with Zoomph's overall business strategy and growth goals.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies for product launches and enhancements.
  • Train and enable internal stakeholders (sales, customer success) on new features and tools to maximize client impact.
  • Assist in crafting clear, data-driven messaging around product value, positioning Zoomph as a leader in media and sponsorship analytics.

Job Requirements
  • 7-10+ years of experience in sports Media Strategy, ideally in SaaS, analytics, or media technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of sports sponsorship measurement, media analytics, or audience engagement tools.
  • Proven experience translating business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and feature roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and concepts to deliver actionable, user-friendly analytics dashboards.
  • Ability to analyze user behavior, client feedback, and market trends to inform product strategy.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate product decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in product management tools like TFS, Figma, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and prioritization.
