 Power bi engineer/Fullstack developer

Job Title: Sr. Data Engineer

RoleType: Full time direct hire salaried

IV Process: 3 rounds virtual

Location: 3800 Quick Hill Road Austin, TX 78728 (3 days onsite) 

Visa: USCEAD

MUST HAVE:

  • Experience in full stack development within data-focused environments
  • Strong background in data visualization and BI product design (UX/UI)
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI / Microsoft Fabric (required)
  • Experience with Looker (LookML) or similar BI tools (required)
  • Experience working with APIs and integrations (required)

Key Challenge (Major Pain Point):

  • Candidates submitted so far do not meet true “full stack” expectations

Market candidates tend to be:

  • Either front-end focused (JavaScript, HTML, UI)
  • Or back-end BI/engineering focused
  • Missing candidates who can operate across both areas

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong AI proficiency (critical requirement)
  • Must be advanced in using AI tools (not basic prompting)
  • Ability to leverage AI to bridge skill gaps

Front-end experience:
