About the Role

We are looking for two experienced Backend Developers to join our team and contribute to the development of industrial and logistics software solutions in a highly technical environment.

The role is primarily focused on backend development using Node.js and Node-RED, with strong interaction with REST APIs, PostgreSQL databases, and industrial communication protocols.

You will work on the development of software features, API integrations, and communication layers between applications, databases, and industrial machinery within a collaborative Agile environment.

Position Overview

Technical Environment
Core Stack, JavaScript, Node.js, Node-RED, PostgreSQL, REST APIs

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development (Main Focus ~80%)
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Node-RED
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and integration layers
- Interface software solutions with SQL databases and industrial machinery
- Develop scalable and maintainable backend features
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design
- Ensure code quality through reviews and testing practices
- Push, maintain, and review code using GitLab

Integration & Testing
- Develop and execute integration tests
- Troubleshoot backend and communication issues
- Validate interactions between APIs, databases, and connected systems
- Support deployment and debugging activities when required

Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, project managers, and client stakeholders
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical discussions

Required Skills

Must-Have
Minimum 6 years of software development experience
Strong experience with:
JavaScript
Node.js
RESTful APIs
PostgreSQL / SQL databases
Experience with Node-RED or willingness to quickly ramp up
Good understanding of backend architecture and API integrations
Experience with integration testing
Familiarity with Git/GitLab workflows

Nice-to-Have
Vue.js experience
Frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Networking fundamentals
Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA or TCP/IP
Exposure to WMS, logistics, supply chain, or industrial environments
Candidate Profile

We are looking for strong technical profiles with solid backend expertise and a problem-solving mindset.

Prior experience in WMS or Supply Chain is not mandatory candidates with strong technical fundamentals and integration experience will be able to ramp up quickly on the business domain.
