Job Title: Showroom Logistics Representative
Location: Dallas, TX
Work Type: On-site/Full-Time
Hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM
STARK is seeking a Showroom Logistics Rep in our STARK showroom in Dallas, TX. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of our showroom and providing unparalleled support to our clientele. The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of physical capability, organizational skills, and client-facing professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
Showroom & Merchandising Support
  • Visual Merchandising: Help maintain and rotate showroom displays, including hanging rugs, displaying sample blankets, and rotating products every two weeks to showcase new arrivals.
  • Client Presentation: Assist Account Managers by flipping rugs in piles and presenting full-size rugs and samples to clients.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Perform daily showroom upkeep, including vacuuming, cleaning floors, displays, windows, and regularly emptying trash.

Inventory & Sample Management
  • Receiving & Processing: Receive, identify, and tag incoming shipments (rugs and samples) from vendors. Assist in inspecting, photographing, and processing new inventory, communicating any damages or soiling.
  • System Utilization: Assist the Inventory Manager by learning and utilizing the AS 4000 system to update inventory, troubleshoot rug histories/locations, and scan outgoing samples.
  • Sample Logistics: Organize, replenish, and distribute sample returns to the appropriate room. Order cuttings and assist in filling incoming sample requests.
  • Inventory Control: Assist the Inventory Manager in conducting physical rug and sample inventories as needed.

Logistics & Delivery
  • Shipping: Pull, prepare, and ship rugs and samples via UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Common Carrier for domestic and international destinations.
  • Product Transfers: Memo rugs to clients and arrange transfers to other showrooms.
  • Client Deliveries: Deliver rugs and carpets to client homes or businesses with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Installation Support: Carefully move furniture to facilitate installations, taking necessary precautions to prevent damage to property.
  • Package Distribution: Distribute incoming daily packages to employees.

Job Requirements:
  • Must possess a pleasant demeanor, interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task and speak in a clear, articulate manner
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company positively in client settings
  • Frequently communicates with coworkers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Interest in the design industry is a plus!

Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift and move over 75-100 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable with physical labor, including installing carpet and moving furniture.
  • Must be able to lift and flip rug piles
