Job description

THE POSITION

Plans and coordinates health and safety program in area of responsibility by analyzing, updating and controlling work processes and supporting leadership with safety awareness and tools to reduce occupational hazards and diseases by performing the following duties.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Partner with regional and branch leaders to drive safety performance and accountability
  • Analyze safety data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct field safety audits, site visits, and DOT compliance reviews
  • Lead or support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Develop initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and vehicle collisions
  • Deliver safety training and support ongoing safety education programs
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance to leadership on workers' compensation, incident reporting, and risk management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting safety programs in field-based operations (construction, landscaping, logistics, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn safety data into action
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel ~50%

  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
  • ASP (Associate Safety Professional)
  • CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist)
