Production Worker / woodshop

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with half-day shifts on Saturdays. During busy seasons, overtime on Saturdays is common

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated production workers to manufacture residential cabinets in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. You will be assigned to one of the following departments: Door, Sanding, Painting/Glazing, or Assembly. Utilize saws, routers, tape measures, chop saws, and various hand tools to produce high-quality cabinet products.

Responsibilities

  • Organize wood materials by type in the Door area and use chop saws and tape measures to prepare door components.
  • Sand cabinet parts using hand and power sanders in the Sanding area, inspecting products for quality and smooth finishes.
  • Read job orders and assemble cabinets to specifications in the Assembly area, measuring materials, selecting appropriate wood types, and installing specialty hardware and components.
  • Retrieve and organize parts needed for assembly.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in saw operating, router, and tape measure.
  • Proficiency in machine operation, moulder, and recognizing types of wood.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate bandsaws.
  • Strong assembly production and construction skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in manufacturing, assembly, or woodworking.
  • Ability to identify various types of wood.
  • Capability to read a tape measure and use hand/power tools effectively.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
