IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions

Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP operates and maintains facilities, systems, and associated grounds across Virginia and Maryland. Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.

As the Project Manager, you will support mission-critical programs within the Intelligence Community (IC). This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex projects related to facilities, infrastructure, and operational support in secure environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in facilities management, demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of compliance, security, and operational requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan, manage, and execute projects from initiation through close-out, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, facilities teams, engineering staff, contractors, and security personnel to ensure mission alignment
  • Apply Facilities Management best practices to support secure facilities, infrastructure upgrades, sustainment efforts, and operational readiness
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies in high-security environments
  • Ensure compliance with applicable IC policies, safety standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor contractor performance and deliverables; support acquisition and contract management activities as required
  • Brief senior leadership on project status, milestones, risks, and recommendations
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by capturing lessons learned and implementing best practices

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Facilities Management Professional (FMP) Certification- required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, facilities management, or related disciplines

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects in secure, regulated, or government environments
  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations, maintenance, and lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior leadership
  • Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community, DoD, or other federal agencies
  • Background in construction, engineering, or facilities sustainment programs
