As a Project Logistics Manager at a United Rentals with our Fluid Solutions Division, you will provide leadership, supervision and support to Fluid Solutions products and applications, run smoothly and efficiently to optimize customer service. You'll manage modular building projects (including major fleet modifications and refurbishment).

You are the onsite project lead who will optimize and coordinate equipment and staffing logistics. You'll deploy and oversee the work of Service Technicians and all onsite employees, and acts as the primary customer contact for the duration of the project. What you'll do: Participate in pre-project planning meetings and strategy sessions.

Involve region and local leadership in project logistics and staffing plan. Effectively lead, develop and manage a cross -functional team consisting mainly of vendors and subcontractors. Direct building manufacturing process Direct permitting process and vendor management Coordinate transportation and site installation and services Manage project team logistics team day-to-day activities, including scheduling, equipment setup/deployment, and breakdown.

Staff each project or event adequately based on skills and workload. Ensure all equipment is ready for operation and safety checks are performed. Responsible for optimization of equipment performance and overseeing any troubleshooting.

Provide leadership and supervision needed to consistently deliver World-Class service to external customers at the project site. Responsible for performance management of project employees; Identify and provide necessary skills training and regular coaching both in one-on-one sessions and in team meetings to motivate performance. Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication.

Other duties assigned as needed Requirements: High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record High level technical working knowledge of Fluid Solutions products and applications, with strong customer service and relationship skills Extensive logistics, project management and leadership experience in large scale projects/events using Fluid Solutions products Sales experience a plus Proficient in Microsoft applications and systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, RentalMan) Strong leadership and communication skills Up to 75% travel throughout year to projects or events; must remain at project or event for its duration This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
