Job description

JOB SUMMARY: The Tooling Logistics Operator is responsible for a variety of tasks related to the Tooling & Logistics department, including data entry, inventory management, and the exchange of tooling assets across all sites, both leaving and returning to Tool and Die. The role is essential to the seamless operation of all production departments and requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
  • Actively facilitate the exchange of tooling assets between departments
  • Track transactions and tool movements into the webapp database
  • Prepare reports on logistics activities
  • Collaborate with all departments to resolve conflicting schedules for tooling assets
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and communicate effectively to management.
  • Attend training as needed or assigned
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED required, plus two years work related experience. Four years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of aforementioned
  • Strong organization, communication, and computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with verbal or written instructions
  • Proven own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
