Description
The Event Operations Driver plays a critical role in executing off-premise and venue-based events by supporting transportation, logistics, and on-site operational leadership. This position is responsible for ensuring all food, beverage, and equipment are accurately loaded, transported, and set up, while also leading operational execution on-site to deliver seamless and high-quality event experiences.
This role serves as a key connector between warehouse operations, culinary, and service teams, ensuring alignment and execution at every stage of the event lifecycle
Key Responsibilities
Event Execution & Operations
• Lead operational execution for assigned events, both on-site and off-premise
• Set up and manage satellite kitchens and operational stations
• Coordinate with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless event flow
• Support all areas of the event as needed to ensure successful execution
• Manage breakdown and return processes, ensuring proper packing and asset protection
Transportation & Logistics
• Safely operate company vehicles to transport food, beverage, and equipment
• Execute accurate loading and unloading processes aligned with event needs
• Review event documentation to confirm all required items are accounted for
• Ensure proper handling and transport of all assets to prevent damage or loss
Equipment & Asset Management
• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain operational equipment in time-sensitive environments
• Support rental management, including china, glassware, and flatware organization
• Track and communicate any damaged or missing items to leadership
• Assist in maintaining organized warehouse and event inventory processes
Leadership & Team Support
• Lead and support event teams on-site, ensuring operational standards are met
• Demonstrate positive leadership behaviors and support team development
• Provide feedback on process improvements to increase efficiency and execution quality
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding event performance and team needs
Compliance & Safety
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards
• Maintain DOT certification and comply with all transportation regulations
• Adhere to company policies and operational procedures at all times
Cross-Functional Support & Projects
• Support special projects and operational initiatives across the Events team and broader organization as needed
• Provide operational support for new business launches, large-scale events, and peak periods across multiple business units
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Required
• Valid Chauffeur's License
• DOT Physical Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Clean driving record (MVR review required)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Preferred
• Associate's Degree in Hospitality or related field
• Previous experience in catering, events, or logistics operations
