We are seeking an exceptional Head of Vault Operations to oversee the daily operations of our high-end collectibles site. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our facility, which houses and sells valuable collectibles.

This role will report directly to the VP, Fulfillment Operations and work from our New Castle, Delaware office.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead a Multi-Entity Operation: Oversee a complex, multi-business operational structure supporting distinct business entities and diverse ownership groups. You'll ensure each entity operates in alignment with its unique strategic goals while driving cohesion across the broader organization.

  • Set the Operational Vision: Own the strategic direction of all facility operations - from policy development to workflow optimization, inventory management, and logistics - ensuring every process reflects the precision and care of our collectibles business demands.

  • Build and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and lead a talented team of operations and support staff. Champion a culture of accountability, continuous growth, and genuine passion for the work we do.

  • Own Inventory Integrity: Drive excellence in warehouse management through our WMS (Korber), ensuring every item is accurately tracked, cataloged, and protected. Lead regular audits and implement proactive measures to prevent loss, damage, or theft.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to elevate operational performance through process optimization, technology adoption, and innovation - staying ahead of developments in collection management systems and related tools.

  • Be a Cross-Functional Partner: Serve as the operational voice for key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Customer Service, Business Development, Lending, and beyond - translating business needs into operational action.

  • Own the P&L: Take full ownership of variable cost management for operational activities, balancing efficiency with quality.

  • Deliver on What Matters: Set and hit ambitious KPIs for quality of service and employee engagement - and hold the team accountable to the same standard.

  • Develop World-Class Training Programs: Design and implement scalable training programs for both new hires and tenured staff that drive operational excellence from day one.

  • Model the Standard: Lead by example on every company policy - safety, security, attendance, and culture - and create an environment where doing the right thing is the norm.

Requirements:

  • 15+ Years of proven experience in managing fast pace operations. High-end collectibles industry or similar fields a plus.

  • Strong understanding of operations management principles, including supply chain management, quality control, and process improvement.

  • The ability to use data to hold teams accountable for SLA's and overall performance standards.

  • Experience in strategic planning, setting goals, and implementing operational excellence.

  • 10+ years experience using a (WMS) Warehouse Management Systems.

  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to manage managers and motivate teams.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Customer centric approach to operations leadership. Demonstrated track record of delivering superior customer experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in managing through uncertainty and a dynamic, changing environment. Comfortable working with insufficient or imperfect information.

  • Excellent data skills that drive the pursuit of continuous improvement.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Prior experience or interest in trading cards is a bonus!

Salary Range:

The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
