Clayton Services is searching for a Logistics & Shipping Assistant to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Logistics & Shipping Assistant will be responsible for coordinating shipments, supporting logistics operations, and assisting with inventory and administrative functions.


Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00/hour

Logistics & Shipping Assistant Responsibilities:


  • Prepare shipping documentation, invoices, and packing slips for domestic and international shipments.
  • Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to customers and internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and update logistics information in the company database.
  • Assist with inventory organization, labeling, and packaging of products for shipment.
  • Support warehouse and logistics operations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment details and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional administrative and logistics-related duties as assigned.


Logistics & Shipping Assistant Skills and Abilities:
