Description
Position Scope:
The Warehouse Associate supports logistics operations by performing material handling and warehousing functions, including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping parts, materials, equipment, and supplies at the facility. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up/reach truck, or turret truck).
  • Beginner proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft applications.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualification(s):
  • Order Picker Forklift experience (cherry-picker, case-picker).
  • Experience with computerized inventory management systems (SAP).
  • Previous logistics or warehouse experience.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform material handling and warehousing functions including receiving, storing, moving, packing, and shipping.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Use computer systems for inventory tracking and order processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Support daily logistics operations and meet productivity goals.
Leadership Responsibilities:
This position does not include supervisory responsibilities but requires adherence to safety standards and teamwork to support warehouse operations.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 12 months of forklift experience.
  • Numerical reasoning aptitude for inventory and order processing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs.
  • Must pass company physical and drug screening.
Work Environment:
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures.
  • Requires use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Standard work schedule with overtime as needed.

Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, employees must be careful while performing onsite services.
