Summary: The Warehouse Associate I at Wagner Logistics is an entry-level, hands-on role responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced third-party logistics (3PL) environment. This position performs general labor functions including receiving, picking, packing, labeling, staging, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The role requires strong attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to working safely while meeting established productivity, quality, and customer service standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to work instructions
  • Load and unload freight manually or using basic warehouse tools (hand trucks, pallet jacks if trained)
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, and packaging for accuracy
  • Label cartons and pallets according to customer and shipping requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, aisles, and docks
  • Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations
  • Support inventory accuracy through proper handling of discrepancies
  • Responsible for maintaining 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) as part of daily work, including performing routine 5S audits and completing other 5S duties as assigned.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned to support operational needs Including other duties as assigned

What You Need:

  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge and Skills: Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to work instructions Load and unload freight manually or using basic warehouse tools (hand trucks, pallet jacks if trained) Verify product quantities, item numbers, and packaging for accuracy Label cartons and pallets according to customer and shipping requirements Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas, aisles, and docks Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations Support inventory accuracy through proper handling and reporting of discrepancies Assist with general warehouse tasks as assigned to support operational needs

Physical Demands and Work Environment: Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and safely Work is performed in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to: Varying temperatures (hot/cold depending on season) and noise from warehouse operations and equipment Dust, packaging materials, and moving equipment Requires prolonged periods of standing and repetitive motion Use of proper PPE is required at all times Overtime, weekend, or shift work may be required based on business needs Wagner is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
