Position Summary
Krise Transportation is seeking motivated operational leaders interested in growing their careers within transportation.
The Assistant Operations Manager partners with local and regional leadership to support the daily operation of one or more transportation locations. This role provides leadership across employee engagement, safety, customer service, staffing, and operational execution while preparing high-potential leaders for future Operations Manager opportunities.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for the next step in their leadership career.
What You'll Do
  • Support the daily management of transportation operations.
  • Assist with employee supervision, coaching, and development.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and customer service.
  • Partner with recruiting and onboarding teams to support staffing initiatives.
  • Help coordinate dispatch, routing, maintenance, and operational activities.
  • Build positive relationships with school district partners and community stakeholders.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with implementation of new initiatives, acquisitions, and business growth.
  • Serve as a leader during peak operational periods and provide operational support where needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
