Job description

This position serves as the senior Logistics Engineer and focal point for logistical data integrity for military vehicle platforms.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsibility for the management and direction of logistics activities for major complex vehicle systems.

Ensure that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide timely and accurate support to the Program Executive Office (PEO) and users.

Lead the development of Logistics Management Information (LMI).

Provide oversight of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) data element integrity within the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

This role bridges the gap between foundational data analysis and executive-level program management.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Must have a High School Diploma/GED plus 16 years of experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Mastery of logistics principles and expert knowledge of agency program planning and management information systems relative to Product Life Cycle Management (PLM). Broad knowledge of logistics disciplines such as maintenance, supply, and Provisioning Bill of Material (PBOM).

Expert knowledge in developing LMI from source data such as FMECA, FTA, LORA, and MA. This includes proficiency in transforming raw data from MS Excel or CSV formats by uploading it into a logistics analysis database such as PowerLog-J2, Raytheon EAGLE, or SLICwave to create the LMI necessary for LSAR generation.

Comprehensive knowledge of and proficiency in applying logistics analysis outputs to establish SMR coding and populate data elements per GEIA-STD-0007C.

Expert knowledge required to develop, analyze, and interpret a full suite of Logistics Supportability Analysis Reports (LSARs) from the created LMI, including but not limited to: LSA-036 (PTD), LSA-056 (FMECA), and LSA-070 (SERD).

Comprehensive knowledge of analytical methods for Data Cleansing/Migration and the ability to integrate separate acquisition and logistic functions.

Desired Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively to sustain liaison and negotiate with management to implement recommendations requiring significant changes in business operations.

Expertise to lead and coordinate the efforts of multifunctional teams to identify specific requirements and adjust plans and schedules.
