We are looking for a talented Logistics Team Leader to join our growing team. You will be responsible for assuring and maintaining the multi-skills of the team, ensuring personnel operative development and promoting and ensuring the use of safety equipment PPE.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Logistics Team Lead Responsibilities
    • ASN Trucks
      • Coordinate and support ASN truck activity.
      • Ensure required shipment information is accurate and completed on time.
      • Communicate truck status, delays, or issues to management as needed.
    • Manage Forklift Drivers and Pickers
      • Provide daily direction to forklift drivers and pickers.
      • Assign priorities based on production, shipping, and warehouse needs.
      • Escalate performance or staffing concerns to management.
    • 5S Activities
      • Support and maintain 5S standards in logistics and warehouse areas.
      • Monitor housekeeping, organization, labeling, and material flow.
      • Follow up on non-compliance and improvement opportunities.
    • Address Safety Concerns
      • Identify and report safety concerns in the logistics area.
      • Support immediate corrective actions where appropriate.
      • Escalate unresolved safety risks to management.
    • Make KON Shipments
      • Prepare and process KON shipments as required.
      • Ensure shipment accuracy, documentation, and timing expectations are met.
      • Coordinate with shipping personnel and internal stakeholders.
    • Cycle Counts
      • Perform or coordinate cycle counts as assigned.
      • Investigate inventory variances and communicate findings.
      • Support inventory accuracy improvement efforts.
    • Forklift Inspections
      • Ensure forklift inspections are completed as required.
      • Monitor inspection documentation for completion and accuracy.
      • Report forklift defects, damage, or safety issues to the appropriate contact.
    • Manage Overflow
      • Coordinate overflow material storage and movement.
      • Ensure overflow areas remain organized, safe, and clearly identified.
      • Support efficient retrieval and return of overflow materials.
    • Empty Bin Checks
      • Conduct empty bin checks to support inventory accuracy and material availability.
      • Identify discrepancies and communicate issues for correction.
      • Help prevent production shortages related to inaccurate bin status.
    • Shortage Reports
      • Prepare and communicate shortage reports.
      • Support follow-up on missing material, inventory discrepancies, and urgent needs.
      • Work with purchasing, production, and warehouse personnel to support resolution.
