Mission:

  • The Logistics Engineer will design, implement, and continuously improve logistics processes that ensure the right materials are delivered to the right production line, at the right time, in the right quantity, while minimizing cost and reducing waste.

Responsibilities:


Coach and animate the Sites Logistics Engineering network:

  • Ensure thatthe site Logistics team have the right professional competencies on Logistics standards and tools through regular assessments.
  • Detecting abnormalities and gaps versus the defined standards, contribute to set-up action plans, including those arising from repetitive / critical open incidents.
  • Standardize job routines to perform tasks in an efficient and robust way.
  • Drive the logistics performance through dedicated KPIs (Logistics Dashboard/P&L).


Execute the Group Logistics standards, working methods, methodologies and digital solutions with site logistics engineering team:

  • Implement measured works standards in Logistics to improve direct labor efficiency (Logistics DLE).
  • Promote standardization of packaging & labeling.
  • Implementthe physical flows solutions (receiving automation, AGVs, Conveyors)
  • Promote the efficient and accurate usage of digital solutions and standards, such as WMS - Warehouse Management System,supplier ASN, etc.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions such as logistics flow simulation, or digital layout solutions.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, through robust process implementation, including cycle counting organization.
  • Perform the AIS roadmaps and working methods assessment, including team On Job Training related to physical flows and logistics engineering.

Perform the training programs on Logistics Engineering network (Logistics engineering team, logistics flow analyst, etc.)

  • Standards and tools, such as VSM, Kanban Loops calculation, Flat storage design, Line feeding design, ...
  • SC & Logistics Fundamentals - physical flows & logistics engineering.

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience in the automotive industry.
  • 5+ years' experience in related field.
