Job description

Purpose/Mission:
Ensure continuous improvement of processes. Ensures compliance with work standards. Conducts process improvement projects to increase QDC Performance in the operations units and support functions
Key Accountabilities:
  • Optimize supply chain & Logistics processes to improve quality, productivity, and delivery performance under consideration of economic and process stability aspects
  • Coordinates and monitors new operating equipment
  • Plans and designs workplaces using appropriate methods (e.g. MTM, EAWS)
  • Analysis of material- and information flow and related figures to determine root causes and derive measures to improve the KPI's.
  • Supports in the creation of Standardized Work documents (SWC, OIS, WAS, WBS, ..) in the Value Stream Organizations.
  • Conducts process analysis and leads optimization projects in indirect support functions of the logistics organization
  • Supports in the development and optimization of new transport and packaging concepts in collaboration with Global Logistics Engineering.
  • Documentation of processes in the logistics environment
  • Handle customer requirements for special logistics services
  • Supports in time studies of the process steps for analysis, improvement projects and performance measuring.
  • Planning, controlling and leading logistics projects within corporate network
  • Cooperate with Lean functions in order to implement and optimize the logistics concept
  • Review & revise database logic to ensure accuracy of logistics KPIs in collaboration with HQ
  • Support to fulfill test cases during quarterly SAP-Release-Management

Knowledge and Experience:
  • 1-2+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relative technical discipline
  • Excellent Project Management Skills
  • Strong process diagnostic ability and process improvement ability based on Lean/OPEX Methods
  • Preferred Knowledge of Warehouse Management System Skills
  • Proficient MS Office Suite
