Overview

Responsible for setting up delivery appointments and customer pickups. Notifying customer service representative and warehouse team if there are any discrepancies with shipments. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities

  • Set up delivery and customer pick up appointments
  • Confirm inventory on product before shipping
  • Respond to email in a timely manner
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors with the assignments for the Forklift drivers and other duties
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors on any tasks needed
  • Request carriers for pre-loaded shipments and entering loads into TMS
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
  • Make decisions about how to correct situations and errors. Should keep Warehouse Supervisor informed of progress

Qualifications

  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills are needed for this job
  • Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft AX, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to problem-solve to make sure that customers are satisfied
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management
  • Knowledge of forklifts
  • Self-managing organization and time management skills
  • High School diploma or GED
