Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Compliance in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a smooth flow of people and vehicles. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while reporting security-related observations, policy violations, and maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
