Job description

Position Summary

CTS Global Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a motivated and energetic Entry-Level Logistics Sales Account Representative to join our growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in building a long-term career in international transportation and logistics.

No freight forwarding sales experience is required. We provide comprehensive training to No freight forwarding sales experience is required. Comprehensive training will be provided to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the logistics industry. Candidates with at least one (1) year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation are highly preferred.

As a Sales Account Representative, you will learn how to identify new business opportunities, build customer relationships, and provide customized logistics solutions, including ocean freight, air freight, trucking, warehousing, customs brokerage, and supply chain services.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, email outreach, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Learn and promote the Company's logistics services, including:

o   Ocean Freight

o   Air Freight

o   Domestic Transportation

o   Warehousing

o   Customs Brokerage

o   3PL & Supply Chain Solutions

  • Understand customer shipping requirements and recommend appropriate transportation solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and assist with pricing proposals.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure successful shipment execution.
  • Follow up with customers regarding quotations, shipments, and service opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales activities and customer information in the Company's CRM system.
  • Participate in sales meetings, product training, and professional development programs.
  • Meet individual sales goals and contribute to team objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Entry-Level Candidates

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
  • Previous sales, customer service, or logistics experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales calls and developing new business.

Experienced Candidates

  • 1-10+ years of freight forwarding, logistics, transportation, or supply chain sales experience.
  • Existing customer portfolio is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of:

o   Ocean Freight

o   Air Freight

o   Import & Export

o   Customs Brokerage

o   Warehousing

o   Domestic Transportation

  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CargoWise is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly preferred.
  • Mandarin Chinese is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with NVOCC, Freight Forwarders, 3PL providers, or Customs Brokers is a plus.
