Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry Level Buyer to support purchasing, inventory, and order processing operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This temp-to-hire role requires strong organizational skills, ERP experience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism in the city of Ontario, CA.


Responsibilities

  • Candidate with Accounting, CSR, or logistics will be a great fit for this position.
  • Create, review, and issue purchase orders accurately and on time
  • Research vendors, collect pricing and quotes, and maintain purchasing records
  • Update ERP system with lead times, ETAs, and order status
  • Monitor open orders and shipments; communicate delays or issues
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and organize purchasing and shipment documents
  • Work with freight forwarders on quotes, bookings, and delivery coordination
  • Verify part counts against purchase orders, manufacturing orders, and packing lists

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
