Position Overview:

The Warehouse Supervisor position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics to support the Horseshoe Beverage Company. This position is onsite at our Horseshoe Beverage facility in Neenah, WI and works a non-rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 5:45pm-6:00am.


Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse employees to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, financing, other areas in supply chain, customer service) to meet operational goals.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and workflow.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and staffing needs.


Inventory Management

  • Conduct cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and FIFO product rotation.
  • Evaluate inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement, including FIFO, the reduction of expired products, and proper putaway scanning and retrieval adherence.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager and Supply Chain team to maintain accurate inventory within Ax.
  • Responsible for data integrity and accurate data management within the ERP and WMS system.


Logistics and Distribution

  • Manage inbound and outbound shipping schedules to meet customer and vendor requirements.
  • Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers for timely shipments.
  • Resolve shipping issues related to loss/damage and customer inquiries related to orders in partnership with Customer Service.
  • Explore opportunities to reduce shipping costs and improve delivery times.


Team Leadership

  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor Warehouse Associates through continuous feedback.
  • Champion training processes and procedures to develop a consistent training environment through coaching, feedback, and mentoring.
  • Foster a positive team environment by modeling resiliency, accountability, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Provide consistent compliance to warehouse and company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Manage warehouse staffing levels and schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Responsible for following food safety/regulatory policies and reporting food safety/regulatory concerns to Quality Supervisor or Manager.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and quality standards within a warehouse and production environment is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to collaborate cross functionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to analyze data, troubleshoot, and make data-driven decisions.
  • High performer within a fast-paced high growth environment.


Hours, Location and Pay:

We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works a non-rotating 2-2-3 schedule, 5:45pm-6:00am at Horseshoe Beverage, Neenah, WI.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
