Position Overview

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering strong relationships and trust.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand services and revenue within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments, accurate documentation, and timely updates.
• Track and trace account performance, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to improve service and strengthen client relationships.
• Provide regular updates to clients on shipment status, performance metrics, and any relevant insights.
• Act promptly to address operational issues, shipment delays, or service disruptions, ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Keep clients informed about new services, industry trends, and company updates to maximize engagement and loyalty.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activity, communications, and opportunities in the company's CRM system.
• Follows established communication protocols and maintains professional interactions.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to CJ Logistics America locations or customer sites.
• Manage account profitability by balancing client cost expectations with company margin goals & participate in regular on-call, after-hours or weekend rotations to ensure seamless client coverage during transitions
• Perform other related job duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in account management, logistics, or a related customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., Fluent in Korean and English (written and verbal) is required
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to be client-focused with a commitment to building long-term relationships.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements
This is largely a sedentary role requiring the physical ability to:

• Salary: Your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. We anticipate this role to pay a minimum of $24.04 an hour, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level and is climate controlled.
Location/Remote Eligibility
This is a hybrid role based out of our Des Plaines, IL office or customer site. Regular, on-site presence is required (4) days per week or as otherwise directed by the company.
This position requires occasional domestic travel to other CJ facilities and may include up to 10% travel. Schedule
